Oct 11	Kidsfest	Raleigh Parks and Recreation is hosting Kidsfest on Saturday October 11th from 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM.  A fun-filled pack day for the entire family. Admission is free.  Rides are priced accordingly. The event will be held at the Spring Forest Road Park, 4203 Spring Forest Rd.  Please be sure to invite a friend! Oct 18	Maple Hill Parade	Please join us for the Annual Maple Hill Parade.  Every year our house church visits our pastor's wife home town for fun, food and games.  This is a great event for youth.  For more information, please contact Alice Kinard at 919-841-6406.

Nov 6	Walnut Terrace Fall Carnival	This event is sponsored by Raleigh Parks and Recreation. The event will be held at the Walnut Terrace Community Center. Admission is free. Mar 5-8	AFAM Discipleship Conference	This year's AFAM Discipleship Conference sponsored by the Navigators will be held in Bowie, MD.  As soon as we get the conference details we will publish them on the website.
Apr 25	Convoy of Hope	Convoy of Hope is coming to Raleigh on April 25, 2009. Growth Ministries in collaboration with other local churches will be ministering to families living in Southeast Raleigh through this event.  On average the event partners Convoy of Hope with 1,000 local volunteers to serve anywhere from 3,000 – 5,000 guests. Outreaches give hope by providing free groceries, health and dental screenings, free haircuts, games and activities for children of all ages. Connections are established through job fairs, churches, government agencies, and community service organizations. Growth Ministries we need your help! Pastor Jerry has volunteered us for the Food Services team.  The Food Services team. is responsible to help obtain food and beverages needed for Food Services. At the outreach, Food Services volunteers prepare and serve food and beverages to guests and volunteers.  If you would like to vounteer to be a part of this outreach, please contact Pastor Jerry at 919-854-4752 for details.
